2025-26 NEWHA Preseason Coaches’ Poll Announced
WINTHROP, Mass. – Coming off its second New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Championship in program history a season ago, Sacred Heart University has been selected as the preseason favorite ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, according to the NEWHA head coaches.
The Pioneers skated to a 4-2 win over LIU, who finished second in the poll, in the NEWHA Championship to earn their first NCAA postseason berth in program history.
The season is set to begin on Saturday, Sep. 20, when Saint Michael's College and Post University each take part in non-conference games.
