Player of the Month
Brooklyn Schneiderhan, Saint Anselm College
The NEWHA's leading goal, assist, and point scorer recorded six goals and four assists for 10 total points during the Hawks' November slate, in which the Hawks went 7-1-0 (7-0-0 NEWHA). The senior forward was a key contributor for Saint Anselm, scoring two game-winning and one shorthanded goal, while posting an on-ice rating of plus-five over eight games played in November. Her 54 career goals place her sixth in Saint Anselm program history. She currently has 99 points heading into her first December contest. The Helena, Mont. native has helped elevate the Hawks to an 11-1-0 conference record, putting them atop the league standings. The senior captain was named the NEWHA Co-Player of the Week once in November (Week 8).
Defensive Player of the Month
Melanie Tagrosz, Franklin Pierce University
The Ravens' freshman defender helped the Ravens to a 6-1-0 record in November with a solid showing from the blue line. In seven games played, all against NEWHA competition, the Livonia, Mich. native posted two goals and seven assists for nine points, compiled an on-ice rating of plus-five, and blocked nine shots. One goal came on the power play, and another came on an empty net. In a 3-0 win over LIU on Nov. 8, she posted one goal and two assists. She capped off the month with a one-goal, three-assist performance in a 7-0 win over Saint Michael's on Nov. 22. She was named the NEWHA Defensive Player of the Week twice in November (Week 7, Week 9).
Goaltender of the Month
Kayla Czukoski, Saint Anselm College
The Hawks' freshman netminder posted a 5-1-0 record, including a 5-0-0 conference mark, over the November slate. She recorded a .962 save percentage and a goals-against average of 1.82 over six games played. The Exton, Pa. native made 275 saves on 286 shots faced, including a 50-save performance in a 2-0 loss against No. 12/13 Yale. Czukoski also made 55 stops for the Hawks in a 4-2 win at Post. She was also named the NEWHA Rookie of the Week twice (Week 6, Week 7) and the NEWHA Goaltender of the Week once (Week 8) during the month.
Rookie of the Month
Abby Broz, Franklin Pierce University
The Ravens' freshman forward posted six points over seven games in November, coming off a pair of goals and four assists. The White Bear Lake, Minn. native logged a plus-four on-ice rating over 6-1-0 span. She capped off the month with her first multi-point performance of the season, posting three assists in a Nov. 22 home shutout over Saint Michael's on Nov. 22. She was named the NEWHA Rookie of the Week once in November (Week 8).
